Playwriting Bio

Kate Jaeger is a Seattle-based writer. Her plays have been performed at 14/48: The World's Quickest Theatre Festival; Script Tease; she is FIERCE: stories from the female and genderqueer perspective; Solo Performance Festival; and Quick Musicals. She believes that stories matter; more importantly HOW we tell stories matters. Kate seeks to elevate the voices of those who have typically been muted or left behind. She believes that theatre has the power to open people’s hearts and minds. Much like life, her work ranges from the absurd to the political.
